Hei ei ei

Hm.

Freu mich schon drauf~ :D

Insert witty title here!

It's fanart-time.

Retribution Falls to be precise.
Jez. And Crake. I loved'em both very much and right from the beginning.

Hm... other than that: Uncharted-movie planned. Not Fillion please. Thanks

Different kind of art

(The hardcover has this neat dustjacket and silver letters on the spine. <3 )

Retribution Falls - out now in the UK! (But I ordered it at the English bookshop and it arrived yesterday.)

What´s it about:
Frey is the captain of the Ketty Jay, leader of a small and highly dysfunctional band of layabouts. An inveterate womaniser and rogue, he and his gang make a living on the wrong side of the law, avoiding the heavily armed flying frigates of the Coalition Navy. With their trio of ragged fighter craft, they run contraband, rob airships and generally make a nuisance of themselves.
So a hot tip on a cargo freighter loaded with valuables seems like a great prospect for an easy heist and a fast buck. Until the heist goes wrong, and the freighter explodes. Suddenly Frey isn't just a nuisance anymore - he's public enemy number one, with the Coalition Navy on his tail and contractors hired to take him down.
But Frey knows something they don't. That freighter was rigged to blow, and Frey has been framed to take the fall. If he wants to prove it, he's going to have to catch the real culprit. He must face liars and lovers, dogfights and gunfights, Dukes and daemons.
It's going to take all his criminal talents to prove he's not the criminal they think he is ...

It is a lot of fun! There are really heartwarming moments and breathtaking airship battles and... I just love it. ._. The characters are really great and carry the story well.

You can read the first chapter on chriswooding.com if you are curious. :)

Good night everyone~!

Omg, what is this?

Another attempt at pc-colouration. I kinda like it... o_o"

Morning everyone.

I drew this one last night when I couldn't be arsed to do anything else.
It's Nehalennia in comic-style. I dunno where that came from but lately I enjoy using a more stylized style but don't fret, I still love me some more realistic design.

And now that I've got a new graphic card, photoshop works again! Doesn't chage the fact that I cannot colour with a computer. But I like to try!

Maybe I'll use this style for the whole comic...? Would be kind of funny to have one exclusive style for one single comic.
Bummer, my tea cup is empty.

See you around!

Back From Black

OMG!

After a long time of no pc and internet, I hath returned!

And it's Guybrush Threepwood! Monkey Island, aw, how I miss you! But soon we'll have a brand new MI-game, by telltale games who are awesome and deserve all the love and cake in the world!

So, I'm happy. Yeah! :)

Keep on running, Keep on Running, There's no place like home

There's no place like home.

Not much to write home about, am afraid.

No idea who he is.
And fyi: I forgot how to draw men with long hair! :D That's nice, isn't it? Because it's much more... realistic that they have short hair. And no hair, that is.

Now I need to figure out how to draw chubby men! \o/
(Don't get me wrong. I still like long-ish hair but so many actors in my favourite tv-shows have short hair and I really want to draw such hairstyles. That's... some weird incentive.)

Off-topic: Watched some X-Files today, the episode "Patient X" which has some nice Krycek-scenes where he talks Russian and I understood some of what he said! (Stuff like: "Why did he do that?" or "Can you hear me?")

Yah, and now I'm off to the StuStaculum!

Bwaj~

'Ello!

Sooo...

This young lady is called Adria. It was a sudden creative assault on my part when I read that some manga competition would be a bout vampires and love. So, while I really, really, really, really dislike all that Twlight-stuff I decided to write a story that has both vampires and love but not the hyped vampire-love. At the end, the vampire dies, his soul is set free, and everybody's happy. >:E

That one over there is... actually, it's fanart. For a book that'll be released this June. Retribution Falls by Chris. It's about airships, pirates, freebooters, air battles and friendshiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip!
Uhm... if you like that kinda stuff you should buy it.
>_>

<_<

Am not too happy with my rendition of that character. Am not convinced.

Moar.

DON'T ASK MEEE!
The thing is... many months ago I came up with a story about one legendary treasure: A ship that can fly in the sky. (We had that in FFV, hadn't we? Oh bummer.) I thought it would be funny to have something like a legendary airship as a treasure. Not the gold coin treasures. A world in which people haven't yet figured out how to make ships fly, you know...
And the captain of some ship was a skinny blackhaired fellow with a drinking problem who's constantly up to no good.
When I read the first chapter of Ret Falls over at chriswooding.com and read the description of Frey... well, to make this short, in my mind, he looked like Erikssen. Still does, in a way.
I found that funny. (My sis' advice was to cast actors for the roles of the book's characters but I simply cannot find any actor that looks like Frey. So, no can do.)

That's all for today.
