Bitingly sarcastic

Tales of the Ketty Jay - The Iron Jackal fanart.

Frey and Crake. Where's Ugrik?!
I want to colour this with watercolours later. Gonna be challenging because of the lighting - red flares and stuff. It's gonna be interesting.
Drew this from memory so all the tech-equipment is WAY off. Will redo these bits, of course (also Frey's face. What happened to that? And his left shoulder! Good golly ... Now that I look at it Crake's arm is also too big. I'm beginning to think I was completely drunk when I drew this! So, luckily I can still erase all those mistakes. *sobs*).
I always wanted to draw some of the daemonism-stuff but was always unsure what all that equipment was supposed to look like. But now I figured what the hell. Just do it, damn it! (Just my excuse to draw more Crake.)

Iron Jackal

Tales of the Ketty-Jay, Iron Jackal-Fanart.
I finished it this Friday and have been merrily drawing the kick-arse crew ever since. Was that a waste of time? I don't know! XDDDD It was a lot of fun. And slightly appalling how inaccurate some of my memories are. Malvery is bald except for some hair round his ears. Totally forgot that... *fail*

Reading it was so much fun. ;_; And there is going to be a fourth, too, so that is all kinds of awesome.

Er, read the books, please? I have no idea if anyone's even ever heard of them but you are missing out on something really cool. (There is bromance!! I mean, bromance!!!!)

I drew a comic page as well but that's... some huge spoiler so... yeah. Cannot really show that one. XD

Silo is still awesome

More fanart for Chris Wooding's Ketty Jay series. Man, I love these characters. ;_;

Silo is awesome

(I... I mean the "hobo"-part in an affectionate way! D: )

(he looks like freakin' Boromir. GAH! And some Bess-designs. Gawd, anyone know how she looks like?! Maaaaan.)
Tales of the Ketty Jay is a(n ongoing) bookseries written by Chris Wooding and it is bloody awesome so I felt compelled to draw some fanart.

There is no Pinn. I don't even know if or when I'll ever draw Pinn. But someday I guess I'll have to. :I

Oh, walk it off, Princess!

Yeah, listened to Sunbears! and had this picture in mind. It's Gemma, btw.
Yay, fanart for Chris's Retribution Falls! \o/ Casey wanted some Silos so I drew some. This one's missing Pinn and more shockingly, Crake. Whut...

I really like this guy. And his lil' Elder God buddy Yoggy.
I can be pathetic like that, I know that.
But gah, Sam and Max season 3 was my favourite yet and a great part of that is owed to these two wimps here. Though arguably, Papierwaite is the wimpier of the two.

Yog-Soggoth: "Papierwaite and I will help you."
Papierwaite: "We will?!!"
Yog-Soggoth: "Oh, man up, Papierwaite!"
(Quote from Sam and Max, The City That Dares Not Sleep)

Posted all over the internet already and I figured that I should post it here as well.

OH AND BTW: HAPPY TOWEL DAY, FOLKS!

Kritzeleien

moar.
First sketch of a manga page. It's not very big. I need those, though, to get the panelling and stuff sorted out
An original character. He's a dork. somewhat.
And some more. Though, really, his story will never be realized because it sucks a lot and frankly, his design is that Default Design I have for men right now. *sigh* One of these days I'll have a story with a bald main character, see if I don't.
Older one. Alaizabel Cray. Chris Wooding-fanart. It was fun to paint. Only postcard-size. :3
Pretty much into Sam & Max at the moment. Playing season 3 and it's... simply awesome. ;o;
Random heads = my speciality.
Film Noir ponderings.
Papierwaite is there, too. And random original characters as well. Humm.

Titel!

Retribution Falls fanart, a novel by Chris Wooding.

Lang nimmer was gepostet...

Jannekes neues Design. Und ich schreib ihren Namen von Post zu Post anders. Sollte mich langsam mal für eine Schreibweise entscheiden... Sie hat nun schiefe Augen. Brauchte mehr Abwechslung beim Design. 8D

Will be edited when I draw more sketches.

A Pile of Book-Fanart

I am not awfully originally these days, I know. But truth be told I am kinda into The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray again. And I don't even know why...
But just smelling the pages takes me back to 2003 when I first read that book. My first English book, too. And I fell in love with it.
It's flawed but I love it.

Ezrael Carver. Detective with the Cheapside Police. Cheap!side... no wonder they cannot catch Stitchface. D|
He's awfully tidy and neat all the time so I was kinda cheering when he's getting beaten up at the end of the book. Does that make sense? I DON'T KNOW! :D

A tiny Thaniel, too.

Other than that...
I found two people on devArt who do cosplays and I almost giggled with delight when I saw that they had cosplayed Emily Laing and Tristan Marlowe from Marzi's L-trilogy (I call it L³ but then no one knows what I'm talking about. Apart from Julia, but she's not here. ;_;)
And today I had some sort of epiphany. I know that Maurice Micklewhite is Michael Cain's real name and I have always pictured Book!Micklewhite as Young!Cain and was sad because if that ever got made into a film they wouldn't be able to cast Cain because he's already too old for that part. Today though I kept thinking about how his face reminds me of someone and I realized that Simon Baker (The Mentalist) looks very much like Young!Cain and I was... happy.
And thus, for the first time ever, I drew Maurice Micklewhite and it was a lot of fun. Because his head is square-ish. Most of the characters I draw are somewhat triangular-shaped so this was a nice change.
Also, there's Emily and Tristan. No Wittgenstein, though. Anna came into my room while I drew these and asked where "Witti" was. I haven't heard that "Witti" for SO long. The last fanart I drew for this series was back in... 2006? A LONG TIME AGO! D:
It felt nice to draw them again.
The page is... a mess, I know. Random scene from the book, btw. And random characters.
Maurice Micklewhite! \o/ He's all about rainbows and chocolate!!!
